What you need:
Huecoat Bindercrete Water Lime Mineral Turpentine Hints and Tips: For best results, stand limewash overnight and remix prior to use. Step 1: Preparation Before applying a sealing coat of Bindercrete to a concrete surface, ensure it is free from dirt, grease, oil and loose material. Thorough preparation of the area is of key importance and correct preparation will ensure a better quality and longer lasting job. Before applying the limewash, seal with a coat of diluted Bindercrete. MIX – 1 part BinderCrete with 4 parts water Apply to surface and allow to dry. Step 2: Lime wash To make 20 litres of limewash you will need: 13 litres of water 4 litres of BinderCrete Slowly add 6 kg of lime and mix to a smooth paste. Then add 200 ml of mineral turpentine. Stir well. Finally add 1 litre of water and stir. Colour can be added at this time. |
